AROUND THE COMMUNITY
At heart of their core values, Nova Vita, staff and management, know the importance of being part of the community in which they live and work. They are known to use their given creativity and talents in charity fashion shows, photoshoots, haircuts for Locks for Love, food drives, christmas gift donations and fundraisers for a multitude of local events and charities. And they do so graciously.
Close to all the Nova Vita Staffer hearts is the Little Black Dress Event, a spectacular annual evening, that is in preparation all year. Happening mid September with over 500 in attendance, it has become a night talked about and anticipated by many. All time and effort for this event is volunteered, and ALL proceeds are given to Wellspring London. It's a sucess because the staff care as much as they do.
The opportunity to donate their time and talent to any person wishing to cut their hair for donation is always a great treat. When both stylist and client know their efforts will help make a wig for a child with cancer, the appointment becomes an experience and a rewarding memory for all involved.
With their intent set on making a difference in the community, the Nova Vita team remains true to their values and always gives back.

A fun event at which Nova Vita presented a wine-inspired fashion show with clothing, hairstyles and makeup ideas for a night on the town or entertaining friends at home.

7th annual participation in Diva Day, held at London's Windemere Manor, many women joined us as we raised money for London's Distress Centre. Only another one of Nova Vita's great fashion shows for a good cause and an enjoyable experience, helping those who rely on the many volunteers on the other end of the phone to de-stress and relax. WOMEN'S LIFESTYLE SHOW

Yet another glamorous fashion show at London's Convention Centre, where the women of London get together for an exciting weekend dedicated specifically for them! Nova Vita collaborated with retail businesses to establishe a fun way to demonstrate 2012's new spring hairstyles and clothing wear. We look forward to seeing everyone at the 2013's show!
WHAT NOVA VITA HAS ACCOMPLISHED
- Lended a hand with Western's Head For the Cure, a campaign held at Western to also raise money for cancer
- Donated 400 feet of hair for the making of wigs, proving that help can be given without a numerical donation
- The Fantasy Hair Gala
- Annual Christmas Toy Drive for the Children's Aid Society
- 2005’s fashion show to raise awareness for Habitat for Humanity
- A fashion show for My Sister's Place, raising $1000
- Raised money and awareness for Juvenile Diabetes four years in a row and counting
- Continuous donations for Optimist, Hopes Garden, Hospice of London, Children’s Aid Society, St. Josephs Health Care, Tara Boom Houston Foundation, and Holiday Home Tour Auction for people with disabilities.
- We participate in Earth Month each May with Aveda. We walk for clean water in Africa. Julie Murphy, a Nova Vita senior stylist, was the single highest raising participant with over $600
- We sponsor children in Africa through Compassion Canada. Instead of staff members receiving gifts on their birthdays, a monthly charitable donation to a child in Africa is made in their name
- Raised over $65,000 in the past four years for Wellspring Cancer Centre of London, and we will continue to do so annually.
- Christmas 2011, Nova Vita gathered many gift bags and treats for the students of Sir Winston Churchill Public School
